Gold Celtic knotwork and bird on a two tone blue background. In the Celtic tradition knotwork represents the thread of life, it should remain unbroken.
The border and reverse side have been textured, I have found this technique to be very durable, protecting the edges.
Fittings are a gold colour with sterling silver clasp on a blue wire necklace 40cm long. The painted piece is craftwood and has been varnished to protect the decoration, it measures 4cm x 8cm x 0.3cm thick.
