Persian & Turkish

Ceramic and textile designs from both the Persian and Turkish Empires inspired this category. Traditional 15th-16th century ceramics from the Iznik region of Turkey started this passion, then the work of William De Morgan led me back to traditional Persian design. The colours are clean and surprisingly contemporary.
